Di Rugerio is the melodic-techno project of Mexican DJ and producer Luis Rugerio. His music combines electronic rhythm with an interest in instrumental melody, favouring dark atmospheres and fluid, ethereal lines. The project began in 2010 while he was studying at Puebla's music conservatory: piano and guitar ideas influenced by jazz and blues became the basis for early deep and progressive house tracks. His later work turned more firmly towards melodic techno.

He founded Uxoa Dutxa Elite in 2012 after finding it difficult to secure releases, then opened the label to artists facing similar obstacles. Alongside that work, his productions have appeared on Iboga, Univack and Silk, and his performing career has extended from the Americas to a European tour in 2019. In the studio, he often develops short melodic phrases as a call and response before refining their sound and arrangement.
