Pinto (NYC) builds house music from the city outward. Raised in New York, he developed a style that moves between jackin’ swing, classic-house weight and soulful details, first establishing the credit through Nervous Records. The 2018 release Where I’m From made that local reference explicit, while subsequent records travelled through Glasgow Underground, Material Series, Rawsome, Brobot and other independent club labels. Pinto launched Jack City Records in 2021, creating a home for his own work and a growing circle of producers. The 2022 EP “Dangerous” was one of its early releases. His catalogue shows collaboration continuing alongside the solo material, including “The People” with Demuir and recent singles for Purveyor Underground, Heattraxx and Jack City. A 2024 long-form podcast centred on his development as a producer, DJ and label owner—three roles that now function as parts of the same New York-rooted project.
