Mixmag cover artist ABSOLUTE. aka Anthony McGinley has graduated from the vibrant East London underground LGBTQ+ club scene to the world stage with a consistent flow of tracks and remixes.
With key supporters ranging from Pete Tong, who crowned String Theory his Essential New Tune, to an ever expanding array of tastemakers; Tiga and Blessed Madonna via Annie Mac and beyond, Anthony has been careful to put out a broad palette to ensure his ambition to deliver a live show remains a clear goal.
Rave Against The Machine features a sample of Greta Thunberg and the success of this breakbeat weapon inspired a link with Extinction Rebellion, leading to Anthony helping to programme music at the recent London action. Anthony played under the monumental setting of Trafalgar Square alongside other headliners Disclosure. This combined with ABSOLUTE.'s appearance for Greenpeace at Glastonbury this summer, shows he's an artist with integrity, not afraid to be proud about his beliefs as well as his art.
