Ankhoï is a Paris-based French DJ and electronic music producer renowned for his emotive and genre-blending approach to house music. Born in Morocco, he developed an early passion for music, starting with guitar and djembe at age 12. By 15, he had discovered progressive music and electronic instruments, leading him to pursue DJing professionally. Ankhoï's music seamlessly fuses elements of progressive house, Afro, and melodic techno, characterized by groovy beats and evocative melodies. His remix of Keinemusik's "Before the Flood" gained significant attention, receiving support from artists like Black Coffee and Pete Tong, and was featured on BBC Radio 1 . Another notable remix is his take on Mayra Andrade's "Afeto," which has amassed over three million streams on Spotify. In November 2024, he launched his debut EP, After All / Hidden Place, through DHB Records, a label he co-founded. The EP showcases his signature sound, blending organic rhythms with deep progressive elements, and has been supported by artists like Keinemusik and Arodes. His international presence continues to grow, with performances at renowned venues such as Djoon in Paris, Raspoutine in Dubai, and Playa Padre in Marbella. His music and live sets aim to create immersive experiences that resonate emotionally with audiences worldwide. In 2025, he teamed up with Jazzy for the "Closer To The Floor" single.
