Biografie

Argy is a Greek DJ and producer whose career runs from the minimal-house clubs of the 2000s to large-scale audiovisual performances. His current work brings melodic dance music into a world of insistent vocal motifs, cinematic imagery and themes drawn from science fiction. NEWORLD gives that approach a live setting, combining his music with a visual production developed as part of the performance itself. Born on Rhodes, Argyris Theofilis moved to London to study music technology after beginning production while still at school. Love Dose, his first full release for Poker Flat in 2005, introduced him to an international underground audience. Years exploring house, tech house and electronica followed, alongside appearances at Panorama Bar and across Ibiza's club circuit. Ketuvim and the Afterlife release Tataki signalled another change in direction, leading to the 2024 album New World and its successor NEWORLD II. The Matrix films helped shape the first album's conceptual world. That expanded presentation now sits alongside appearances at Tomorrowland in Belgium and Brazil, EDC and Dreamstate, as well as a Cercle performance at Switzerland's Jungfraujoch. His work also extends into soundtrack composition for film and fashion projects.
