Giom brings the feel of a working drummer to house music. The London-based French producer Guillaume Jambel first found encouragement from DJ Sneak, developing Chicago-inspired tracks into a sound that takes in deep house, French house and disco. Records such as Dr. Zapp and appearances at fabric and Privilege established the club side of his career, while his Supremus label created space for his own music, friends and new producers.

Outside that solo work, he is a member of PREP and has played with artists including Alice Russell and Kasabian. Band life and electronic production have continued alongside one another, rather than belonging to separate phases.

After a period focused on other projects, he returned to making house in 2024 with a new garden studio and a renewed appetite for writing without fixing a genre in advance. Reissues through Giom Classics sit alongside new music, including the In Orbit EP on Anjunadeep Explorations.
