A DJ, producer and label boss firmly in the ascendency, Chris Stussy emerged onto the scene double quick time with a string of head turning house tracks, but what is important is that he has continued to back up that early promise years later. Now very much a key part of today’s house scene with a sound that is all his own, Stussy’s rise has taken him firmly into the spotlight as one of the scene’s most exciting names, and the Dutch wonderkid is only just getting started…

A long-standing love of early house music, but also raw production aesthetics and an understanding of jazz, disco and Chicago styles feed into his own unique take on the genre. As such, his sublime late-night cuts via the likes of Djebali, Moscow, Eastenderz, LOCUS, and PIV, where he is also charged with spotting new talent as the in-house A&R, often come with bumping drums and a bassline that is superbly slick and supple, whilst remixes for artists including the one and only Kerri Chandler welcome smart vocal samples and lush synth colours which add to the allure of his most seductive and warm house grooves.

As a DJ, Stussy is just as widely informed and draws on styles to suit the many different settings in which he plays. Main stages at Awakenings through to cult underground clubs such as Watergate (Berlin), fabric (London), Fuse (Brussels) and Elrow (Barcelona) all come under his spell in equally memorable ways, with tours of Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America already in the books, plus regular appearances across Amsterdam’s finest venues. From long, slow, deep and tension building mixes to more high impact, quick chops and high energy cuts, he is a versatile selector who is always on the move.

And yet, after countless #1’s Stussy still continues to serve up heat at an alarming rate. Add to the mix the highly-anticipated launch of his own label ‘Up The Stuss’ - a vinyl-driven outlet for both Stussy and close friends and colleagues to release forward thinking, timeless club-driven productions from across the electronic sphere - and you begin to gain an understanding of just how well-rounded he is not only as an artist, but also as an A&R and a label owner. Yet despite being so prolific, the quality levels remain high, and while each new production shows a subtle evolution, they continue to feed into the singular Stussy sound that DJs and dancers have come to know and love.

In 1983, Carlos Sosa pka DJ Sneak, moved to the city of Chicago from The island of Puerto Rico, where his early musical experiences and Influences were rooted in salsa, meringue and famous Latin orchestras. Chicago, like Puerto Rico, is a city rich with musical styles and sounds. It was in Chicago that Sneak found inspiration in underground house music, Warehouse parties and "old school" mix tapes from the early pioneers - Farley Jackmaster Funk, Ralphi Rosario, Steve Hurley and local radio station shows played on WBMX. Sneak earned his nickname rocking designs in the graffiti tagging days and began working at retail stores as an airbrush artist, not long after he cultured the music industry world and began recording his first releases. While at retail stores Sneak developed his DJing skills around the city working regular mobile DJ jobs and local nightclubs. In an already saturated DJ pool, sneak focused on music production and started an independent label - Defiant Records. In 1992, using the fundamental studio pieces, Sneak began recording tracks with an unusual new style. In 1994, while still working at local store Gramophone Records sneak met Cajmere (green velvet) owner of Cajual and Relief Records. Cajmere released some of sneak's pivotal tracks and helped bring international recognition, with it, a global DJing career. In 1995, sneak's new sound revolutionized house music with inspirational sounds and rhythms never heard. The disco filtered house grooves became sneak's signature sound. Innovator to many, sneak's love for music spawned current talents such as Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden. In 1996, Dj Sneak's "You can't hide from your bud" on Derrick Carter's Classic Recordings turn out to be something of a masterpiece, setting a blueprint for many subsequent 'filtered disco' tracks and preceding the wave of funky, disco-influenced house that would prove the massive popularity of Chicago underground music. From 1996 through the present day DJ Sneak is also a veteran on the remix world, with highly expected remixes that drive dance floors across the globe to ecstatic conditions by means of his intense beats and rhythms. After years of development, DJ Sneak is a familiar name across the world's club circuit rocking down the best venues and events. A frequent visitor of Ibiza - the Island of spiritual parties and the Mecca of dance music culture, sneak has played a part in many of events involving the best production teams from England; Ministry of Sound, Cream, Manumission, Miss Money penny's to mention a few. A favorite in the United Kingdom's summer festivals for example Homelands, Creamfields, 'T' in the park in Scotland, Sneak has no mercy on the sound systems and on the scale of exiting DJs to grasp he remains part of the top 100 DJs of the world for 5 consecutive years. Recognized as the disco filter innovator his musical style is diverse from furious banging' Chicago tracks and Latin tribal beats to disco filtered reworks of retro classics with melodic rhythms that suit your soul. In 2001 Sneak launched a new record label 'Magnetic Recordings" where he's releasing all new music, compilations as well as introducing new talents and continue preaching the sound of Chicago House Music. With previous original Hit records like ‘ Move Out Of My Way’ Dennis Quin turned heads. Being streamed on Spotify more than 6.6 mln times, charted at the MTV Europe Big 20 Chart Show in 2018 he turned heads.

in 2025 he reached 1.4M monthly listeners and over 10k followers on Spotify.

His second most successful track is the highly respected remix of ‘ You’re In My System’ (Kerri Chandler, Jerome Sydenham) released on Ibadan Records, Selling out 2 represses in a few weeks time, there’s no doubt that this Dennis Quin interpretation of the original will always be a timeless record. Yet again in 2023 officially re-released but this time as an official collaboration with Kerri.

With his diversity in styles he managed to get signed to the renowned Slapfunk’s Sister label ‘Dungeon Meat’ with an original solo EP in 2024 (Vinyl only).

2025 sees a lot of new music on a wide variety of labels such as Dungeon Meat, Constant Sound and Dennis will launch his new imprint this summer.

Dennis released his music on labels such as Beeyou, Dungeon Meat, Constant Sound, Eastenderz, PIV and Kaoz Theory and will release in 2025 on Factory 93 Records, MAW records and more to come.
