Black Loops influences stem from genres such as funk, soul, and disco, while his style is similar to the sound of the 90’s UK House movement and early 00's NY House.

Okain is part of a wave of artists that began spinning records and producing music two decades ago in Paris shaping the bubbling French electronic music scene we know today.

After spending his early years playing in clubs around Paris, his first releases came out in 2007 and launched his international career. Since then, he has played at key venues around the world and visited all 5 continents, including Fabric London, Awakenings Amsterdam, Fuse London, Tresor Berlin, Panorama Bar Berlin, Space Ibiza, and SASH Sidney, to name a few. His busy touring schedule hasn't stopped him from continuously releasing music on celebrated underground imprints such as Constant Sound, Infuse, Locus, Pleasure Zone, Tsuba, Bpitch Control, PIV, and, of course, his own label.

After relocating to Berlin in 2012, he established his musical imprint, Talman Records. There, he can freely release his music and provide a new platform for like-minded artists such as Silverlining, Kolter, Harrison BDP, and Chris Stussy, to name a few.

With a discography boasting over 40 records on underground favorites, Okain has solidified his position as a key player in shaping the contemporary electronic music landscape.

Consistently putting out quality music since the mid nineties on among many others his own genre-shaping Search imprint, he still resides where he has been for many years now; the absolute cutting edge.Named by many as a source of inspiration, Jeroen Search embodies a clear and honest interpretation of techno. His tracks, while audibly open to new and exciting musical influences, always remain true to that typical, inimitable Search-sound. He has seen little to no need to completely reinvent himself at any stage as most, if not all, of his work communicates itself with great ease due to its truly timeless nature.Starting out in 1993 under the DJ Groovehead alias with one of the first releases on X-Trax Records, Jeroen has so far put out his music on many respected labels such as Figure SPC, M_Rec LTD, Traut, Coincidence Records, and A&S, the latter he co-owns with friend and colleague Dimi Angélis. One of his personal highlights has been the ability to do two releases on Jeff Mills’ Axis/6277 label, one solo (New Reality EP) and one as Counterpart (The Martian Mystique).Jeroen’s approach to music production is an unorthodox one; he records all his tracks in a single take and does all his editing live. Michigan born Rick Wade might not get the headlines of his more celebrated Detroit peers, but few have done as much to contribute to the house canon as he. For nigh on two decades ‘big daddy Rick’ has consistently turned out deeply channeled grooves that need every second of their often elongated lengths to have best effect. Peppered only lightly with strings, the odd breathy voice or some other delicate hook culled from the funk and soul sounds around which he grew up, Wade’s style is the perfect embodiment of minimum effort, maximum impact.

A famously rapid and prolific producer who turns out hundreds of excellent tracks on a non stop basis, Wade is also the force behind legendary imprint Harmonie Park, which has released classics from peers like Mike Huckaby, amongst others. His own discography stretches to three pages and is a pure gold mine for house heads, with each track sounding as timeless as the next.
