About Vicente Belenguer

Bio

House, progressive and tech sounds form the centre of Vicente Belenguer’s work, alongside the trance, tribal rhythms and vocals that run through his DJ sets. The Valencia-based producer began his musical career in his teens and developed a long club history in Spain, with residencies including Sound Factory and Sala Metro and appearances at Fabrik, Pacha La Pineda and Insomnia. His studio work includes “I Feel,” “Sound of Goodbye” and “Illusion,” while collaborations with Alfredo Pareja, Head Horny’s and Pepo WB connect his productions to the dance and hard-house repertoire heard in his sets. His career has also included A&R work for Tormenta Records and 4Monkeys. On his Rewind radio programme, he revisits dance music from the 1990s and 2000s; his published live recordings document that continuing relationship with the music, including recent back-to-back sessions with Pareja.
