About Dj Konik

Bio

DJ Konik is one of producer Tony Costa’s musical identities, closely associated with the fast melodies and club energy of Spanish makina. His career began behind the decks during the Italo-disco era and developed through Spain’s club circuit, including appearances at Pont Aeri, Chasis and Scorpia. Production became another lasting part of that work. Alongside the Konik name, Costa has used aliases including Xpose and Anonim, exploring different corners of electronic dance music. Atlantis has remained a recurring reference point, returning in new versions and introducing his work to further generations of listeners. Based in Murcia, he continues to produce vocal collaborations and makina releases through DJs At Work, linking a long club history with an active studio practice.
