Shimah is a Drum & Bass producer and DJ from Hull, UK, known for his dynamic sound and deep catalogue stretching back to the mid-2000s. His debut releases on DJ Hazard’s Radius and R-Sound caught the attention of DJ Hype, leading to multiple releases on the legendary Playaz and New Playaz labels.

A longtime resident at Hull’s iconic Shinobi events, Shimah has built a reputation for energetic, genre-spanning DJ sets. His journey has taken him across the UK and beyond — with performances at Fabric (London), Kendal Calling, Noisily Festival, and the infamous Outlook Festival.

After a return in 2019 with the ‘Gaian Mind EP’ on Liquid Lab and the 2021 ‘Transhumanism EP’ on Co-Lab Recordings, Shimah cemented his evolution with his full-length debut album ‘4th Dimension’ in 2024.

2025 has been a busy year, with two standout releases — the heavy-hitting ‘Pressure in the Pipes’ and a digital reissue of his 2009 classic ‘The Mob’ — both setting the tone for what’s to come. Now, with the ‘Surveillance EP’ about to land on Co-Lab Recordings, Shimah is closing the year with purpose and precision.

There are few artists who can claim to have shot to Drum & Bass fame as quickly, or as succinctly as Birmingham based DJ Hazard. In just a few short years this incredibly talented producer has knocked out enough dancefloor bombs to be considered a serious sonic terrorist, adding to the noise pollution problems of neighbourhoods around the world with his uncompromisingly tight beats and earth-quaking basslines.

Originally noticed by D&B legend DJ Hype while producing a few tracks for DJ SS’ Formation Records, Hazard was soon snapped up by the Playaz boss once he realised the young Birmingham based talent wasn’t under contract. There began a partnership that has rocketed DJ Hazard to the very top of his game, both in terms of producing immense dancefloor destroying tracks that eager DJs clamour to get their hands on during promo stage, and his own career as a DJ which has seen him travel the globe, doling out masses of bass-fuelled pain to unsuspecting ravers worldwide.

Heist, real name Jim Muir, is a renowned UK drum'n'bass producer known for his signature blend of intricate sounds and cutting-edge production techniques. A mainstay in the scene for years, Heist has crafted a distinctive style that merges lush, atmospheric melodies with powerful basslines and punchy drums, creating tracks that resonate both on the dancefloor and in the studio. He first gained attention in the mid-2000s, releasing records for the Rufige Kru project and going on to log releases for leading labels such as Metalheadz, Playaz, and Co-Lab Recordings, establishing himself as a versatile and forward-thinking producer with a knack for combining elements of liquid funk, techy beats, and deep, soulful vibes. Among his highlights are the tracks "Rum Goblin," "The Verdict," and "Digital Funk" and his work has earned him recognition and respect within the drum and bass community, collaborating with some of the genre's biggest names while also carving out his own solo path. 2023 saw the release of new album Heist Sound driven by standout track "Moose Knuckle", which cracked the UK's Top 100 Singles Sales Official Chart.

Simula has been writhing around in the depths of electronic music since 2015, and continues to push his gritty and dark sound forward into the void. Combining elements of jungle, jump up, and a variety of styles from the soundsystem culture, Simula pushes forward his own flavour of evil drum & bass.

They say nothing in life is certain but death and taxes, but Taxman’s success seemed just as certain from the outset. If you’ve been anywhere near a drum & bass dancefloor in the past then you know this man’s productions, and you’ll have been throwing your arms up and calling for DJs to reload his tracks on more than one occasion!

Taxman, or Dominic Tindill is none other than the brother of Adam Tindill – better known to the world as Original Sin, the production force behind the infamous G Dub duo. Growing up on a musical diet of drum & bass and jungle, Dominic and his brother would wait until their parents were out, light up a spliff and take turns mixing up their combined record collections. From an early age Taxman was hooked into a lifestyle which seemed fascinating to him, the very idea of recording studios and the people who worked in them lighting up his imagination. Abandoning his social life, Dominic jumped headfirst into the murky world of production, spending hours and hours locked in front of his PC screen trying to get to grips with the fast pace of modern music making. Realising that he wanted to make a career of music took some time, but Taxman was determined to throw everything he had into the pot, a gamble which has paid huge dividends in recent years.
