Change is inevitable, and nowhere is this more prevalent than in the world of dance music. Analog gives way to digital, trends come and go, yet NYC’s DJ Joeski remains at the top of his game, and now, in the midst of his third decade as one of house music’s most sought-after stars, his momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Joeski’s trajectory can be traced back to 1991, when he burst onto the NYC house music scene as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory DJ collective. He delighted crowds at Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium and NASA, helped turn “Save The Robots” into a NYC afterhours institution and earned his first residency at “Together” parties at the legendary Roxy, playing alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez.

Already a fixture on the U.S. and Canadian club circuit,in the late 90’s Joeski added production to his repetoire, building his own recording studio and spending the next few years mastering his craft. In 2000 he burst into the clubs and onto the charts with hit after hit on Electrik Soul, Siesta, Chez and Camouflage, emerging as one of the most sought-after DJs, remixers and producers in the scene.

In 2001 Joeski launched Maya Records, with releases like “Hustler’s Revenge” and his collaboration with DJ Chus on “El Amor” propelling the label onto the forefront of the U.S. house music sound that would become a global phenomenon and win him worldwide acclaim from clubbers and fellow DJs alike.

Demand for his studio skills grew exponentially over the next decade, with Joeski producing and remixing for the likes of NRK, Ministry of Sound, Defected, Bedrock, Nervous, Cajual and KMS ,helping catapult him further into the ranks of the house music elite.

Entering its 16th year, his Maya label continues a steady output of quality material that remain fixtures on the Beatport and Traxsource tech and deep house charts, with a robust release schedule that shows no signs of slowing any time soon.

January 2017 began with Joeski once again hard at work in the studio, teaming up with Harry Romero (as HR+Ski) on “Dem Tings” for Maya, working solo on “Lessons in Dub” for Poker Flat and also releasing the 14th installment in his “Maya Sessions” podcast on Pioneer DJ Radio.

The new music and remixes continued with the release of “Mind Function” on Maya and “Tribute to Obatala” on Crosstown Rebels, dropped by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show in February.

Joeski’s touring schedule continues to be as prolific as his studio output, headlining clubs from Acapulco to Helsinki plus a booked-out week spent at Miami Music Week 2017. In March all three tracks from “Tribute to Obatala” simultaneously climbed onto Beatport’s Tech House Top 100, with Joeski ending the month as featured artist on John Digweed’s “Transitions” podcast.

New music continued to flow in April including the release of Dancing in Space” on Kinetika and “Deep Elements EP” on Kitball, while “Mind Function” on Maya climbed into the Traxsource Tech House Top-10. Returning home from a tour of Mexico Joeski hit the studio once again, jamming with SF’s legendary Doc Martin on an upcoming collaboration and putting the finishing touches on his next solo Maya release.

This summer Joeski will once again be a fixture on the global tour circuit with performances at both Do Not Sleep and Dennis Ferrer’s Misfits Party in Ibiza, extensive tours of Australia, New Zealand, South America and Europe while back stateside he and Harry Romero continue their monthly Yage night at Brooklyn’s Output.

Fueled by his genuine love of the music, there’s no doubt that Joeski will continue to evolve both behind the decks and in the studio, captivating new generations of club-goers and maintaining his place as one of dance music’s most enduring talents.

Joeski

Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Manda Moor, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore, Sidney Charles, Toman, Rich NxT and S.A.M. to name a few.

Sus inicios de vida profesional fueron en el mundo de la gastronomía. Sus estudios de cocina internacional lo llevaron a trabajar en los restaurants más famosos de Santiago. Es durante esta etapa que ante la ausencia de un DJ para amenizar la jornada, que se atreve a entrar en el mundo de los discos y de las mezclas. Butano rápidamente se estableció como un talento en la escena house underground de Chile.

 

Actualmente es residente y colaborador en La Feria, el único club de nivel internacional del país y además es dueño de su propio sello, 'Posay Music'. Su inspiración proviene de artistas tales como Depeche Mode, New Order y Kraftwerk. Su gusto evolucionó de manera rápida así también su admiración a los héroes locales, los productores nacionales Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos y Dandy Jack.

 

Su estilo es del gusto de muchos, ya que sus sets siempre han sido liderados por sonidos tech house y house grooveros, apoyados por fuertes líneas de bajos, percusiones animadas, ritmos y melodías orgánicas. La marca que lo ha hecho famoso ha sido el uso de sus propias vocales en tracks de su autoría. Los tracks de Butano han sido publicados en los sellos más prestigiosos de la escena, tales como

Esto lo ha llevado a compartir escenarios con artistas tales como Carl Cox, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Sven Vath , Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Hernan Cattaneo, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Steve Lawler, DJ Sneak, Michael Mayer, Felix Da HouseCat, Tiga, Stefano Noferini y muchos más.

 

Su carrera también lo ha llevado a tocar en toda Sudamérica siendo parte de algunos de los principales festivales como Creamfields, Mysteryland y Ultra Festival. En cuanto a clubes, su residencia en La Feria marca la pauta, además de D-Edge (Sao Paulo), Crobar, Pacha, Bahrein y Palacio Alsina, Radio Berlín & Vlak (Bogotá), Terraza (Camboriu), Bizarro (Lima), Terraza (Uruguay). Butano también protagonista en "Vagabundos”, evento creado por Luciano, donde ha participado junto a él por casi 5 años.

 

En sus tour europeos ha tocado en múltiples destinos, comenzando por el mundo de Ibiza en Amnesia, Space, Hï Ibiza, Pacha, Ushuaia Destino, Sankeys, Zoo Project,

 

Privilege y en fiestas como Music On, Vagabundos, Luciano & Friends e Ibiza Global Radio. Además, en Barcelona ha estado presente en Off Sonar, CityHall y en el ya mítico Club4, invitado por el mismo Paco Osuna. Otros clubes que han visto su talento son Macarena, Red58, La Terraza y en Madrid, Fabrik Vagabundos 2017/2018 y Studio 76.

Santé, is part of a new school of artists championing musicality, skillfulness and creativity over mindless loops and endless repetition. His productions, like those on his record label AVOTRE, ooze character, charisma & humour, feelings so often overlooked in the realms of house music.

Santé’s career trajectory has grown hand in hand with AVOTRE’s reputation. His success has allowed the brand, founded in 2012, to grow incredibly quickly, to the point where it is now an established label selling out at least two international showcase events every month while continuing to act as a ‘go-to’ label for the undergrounds hottest acts. 2015 saw the release of two further successful House Lessons releases – One from long term friend Russ Yallop, and the other, touring and production partner Sidney Charles. The House Lessons concept itself comes from one of the label’s first releases AVTR003 – Sidney Charles’ genius track of the same name that has led to a musical concept, fully embraced by Santé and the AVOTRE family. Culminating in the February 2017 with the release of Santé’s own House Lesson’s LP, the twelve track concept album is a compilation of collaborative tracks, featuring some of house and techno’s most influential artists including wAFF, Marshall Jefferson, Ann Saunderson, and Solardo amongst others

Draxx is an Italian producer and DJ. His productions have gained considerable popularity, receiving approval and support from some of the industry's top talents, such as Cloonee, Hugel, John Summit, Sosa, Gordo, Martin Ikin, Lee Foss, Latmun, Solardo, Acraze, CID, Blackchild, Wade, and many more. His tracks have found a home on prestigious record labels such as Insomniac, Hellbent, Sola, Nervous, Nonstop, Glasgow Underground, Moon Harbour, and more. His track 'WTF' took him to 32nd place on the Beatport main chart, 11th position on the tech house chart, and landed on Spotify's playlist 'Tech House Operator.' His track 'Ponteme' reached the 96th Beatport charting position, while the remix of 'Hayabusa' achieved an impressive 11th charting position. 2023 was a breakout year; he was awarded as one of the exclusive producers taking part in 'The Future of Dance' by 1001Tracklists. The official remix release of Kevin Mckay's hit single 'Work' touched the top 10 Tech House chart by Beatport and received support from an immense list of top players in the electronic dance music scene. In 2023, Draxx released a multi-collaboration 'TuTuTu' with Hugel, Malone, and Cvmpanile, out on Insomniac Records, with major support from dance music's elite. 2024 is looking promising for the Italian producer with major tracks signed to various global labels, consumption and streams on the rise, collabs, remixes, local and international touring, confirming the growth of Draxx in the dance music world.
