Drumsauw has made a prolific rise in a short amount of time in the techno world.  Only forming in late 2017, the English production wunderkind also known as Joseph Sutherland, donned his very driving studio mindset and high quality production finesse and produced many an original track.  It didn't take long before some international recognition followed, with massive support from some global major league techno artists.

No stranger to the world of production and DJing, Joseph started his musical journey over a decade ago, producing Hard Dance under his alias Side E-Fect.   A prominent feature in his productions would be a massive kick drum and techno influenced production, which would translate well when he decided to form Drumsauw.

Born from the collaboration between 2 DJ & Producer friends from Marseille, Open Minded begins to reveal a techno with 2 sides. From a melodic, captivating techno with melancholy sounds, to a more raw and danceable techno, favoring explosive kicks and deep bass, the duo is now well launched. In just a few months of existence, several of their productions have been signed, notably with Renesanz Records, Eclipse Recordings, Of Us Records and Monkey League.

Performing on the local scene in the south of France, in renowned clubs such as the DISTRICT UNDERGROUND in Avignon, the PZ CITY CLUB in Montpellier, the famous DOCK DES SUDS of Marseille, or the 6MIC performance hall in Aix-en-Provence, they created their own collective "KHARMA" in 2021. This collective allows them to launch their first episodes of “L’Instant Electronique”, a fully filmed DJ set, in order to highlight young local DJs.

For the 10th episode, the duo puts their DJ equipements directly on the historic SAGA submarine, created by the famous Jacques Cousteau’s team in Marseille, to film their own melodic techno DJ Set. With this movie, he creates the most emblematic episode of the series.
