At just 20 years old, White Papoo (Eddy Beneteau) released his album Kietronic under the American label Universe Melody. Through his work in local studios, he gained recognition from renowned artists worldwide, including Lina Martínez (pianist for Destiny’s Child), François Quiet, Dom Famularo, Richmond Brascomb, and Tim Cobza. He also remixed a track for Christina Aguilera and became a Yamaha Music endorser.

After four years of performing live alongside Neil Conti (drummer for David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, and Perry Black), Eddy shifted his focus to Nuskool Breaks production. In 2005, he was signed by UK label Bass Invaderz (Distortionz’s label). With support from Kiss FM and BBC Radio, his music reached audiences worldwide. He spent two years as a resident at the original BreaksFM, which put his work in the spotlight. Over the following years, he released music on prestigious labels such as Trans:verse, Mechanoise, Last Meal, L3 Recs, Revolution, and BreaksFM. He solidified his sound with Rocstar, working alongside artists like Aphrodite, Kidda, and Groove Diggerz, and even released music under Universal Music in 2008.

Today, Eddy works professionally as a producer for established artists.

Juan Portillo Entrena, known to all as KVBIK, has quickly established himself as a preeminent voice in contemporary breakbeat, and with good reason. His razor-sharp production and ability to reflect both light and shade while still delivering cutting-edge, dancefloor-focused monsters has brought him to the attention of virtually every label and producer worth his salt. His recent collaboration with the ever-lethal Backdraft—a screwface-inducing monster that must be heard to be believed, forthcoming on Audiogore’s incredible recordings—along with a standout DJ set at his insane Bass Pressure events, have cemented him as a key member of the Spanish breakbeat fraternity alongside the incredible Neurobreaks Collective. His output has graced the catalogs of Guerrilla Tactics, DKR, Bassrock, and Raveart, to name just a few, in his collaboration with Glen “Future Funk Squad” Nichols.

KVBIK

Linero is a producer and DJ based in Seville, where he discovered Breakbeat music in 2002. A few years later, he embarked on his DJ career and quickly ventured into producing his own tracks.

His talent led him to share stages with renowned artists such as Stanton Warriors, Rennie Pilgrem, Backdraft, Beat Assassin, and many others. Along the way, he became heavily influenced by the darker rhythms within the Drum and Bass genre, exploring various sub-genres and always striving to infuse elements of this style into his new productions.

Linero

Backdraft (Paul Chadwick & Karrie Price) have been an integral part of the breakbeat scene for several decades. Supported by everyone from Plump DJ’s, Meat Katie, Rennie Pilgrim, FreQ Nasty to Tayo. With releases on Botchit & Scarper, Passenger, Bassrock, Downbeat or Audiogore. This Manchester duo are one of breakbeats veteran acts with a loyal and avid fanbase.

Whether they are fusing ragga vocals with electro wobbles, reggae blessed grooves with syncopated beats or just having a laugh, trying to melt the globes bass cones… one thing is always obvious, they do it in style and with passion.

Backdraft

Takomo is the duo formed by two Finnish music enthusiasts, Pekka Kokkonen and Otto Hassinen. Initially influenced by dark drum’n’bass, Takomo has smoothly transitioned from drum’n’bass to techno and dubstep. However, their most remarkable work is in their breaks productions. The duo has released music on well-known labels like Botchit Breaks, Fusetrax, and Trans:verse Records, and they have been part of the Audiogore project with their colleagues from southern Spain. In addition to the breakbeat scene, they have contributed their work to many independent films, video game music, and soundtracks related to digital art. They pay particular attention to detail in their work, which can sometimes be slow due to the rich and intricate elements that adorn their musical landscapes. Their regular shows with the Bass Heroes team on Breaks FM were widely recognized. Their technique behind the decks is as versatile as their production, easily navigating through the atmospheric breakbeat sounds they are known for, to dubstep and electro, with indirect touches of techno house and drum’n’bass, using the name Trisector for the latter. They receive unconditional support from prominent artists such as Annie Nightingale, Tayo, Sonz of Mecha, Hoffman, LBJ, ElSid, Stormtrooperz, Influenza, and Cereal Killaz.

Takomo


Yakov’s sounds are coming from Croatia. He is an electronic music producer rooted in drum and bass yet not bound to, mainly sticking with broken beat genres such as breakbeat, dubstep, IDM or hip hop. In his production Yakov dabbles in complex and layered sound scapes carried with powerful and unique grooves both ready for listening and dancefloor. We can find his work self-released and through labels such as Bad Taste Recordings (Sweden), BPM rec. (Germany), Balkan Kolektiv Records (Croatia), South Yard (Spain) or Audiogore (Spain).

Yakov

Kunai (Seville), crafts a unique sound managed trough melodic chords, immersive settings, pronounced drums, and intricate basslines. His artistic influences draw from a diverse range of styles, including Soundtracks, Future Garage, Drum & Bass, Metal, and Synthwave. However, it is within the realm of Heavy Breaks where he truly made a name for himself. His journey into the world of broken rhythms started as a DJ back in 1999, honing his skills behind the decks. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that he fully embraced his identity as a music producer. Since then, he has been passionately shaping his musical creations with his distinct and captivating sound. Kunai’s ability to blend various genres and infuse his tracks with emotion has garnered him an incoming debut on Audiogore.

Kunai (SP)

UNREAL is the project with which Lizana, from Sevilla, has forged his own style of broken rhythms heavily influenced by sounds such as drum n bass, breakstep, and the hardest dubstep. In its beginnings, he had the invaluable collaboration of Xenon, another talented producer originally from Marbella, but it is now on his own that he has definitively elevated his creations to the highest level in a qualitative leap within reach of very few. In each track, he manages to unveil unsettling soundscapes that transport the listener to unknown worlds, where energetic drums and powerful synthesizers unfold a unique musical experience. An essential collaborator on Audiogore, he has worked alongside various artists such as Kelle, Remenz, Basschaos, and Katagon, among many others, thus consolidating himself as a prominent figure in the genre.
