Kyoto based DJ/Producer, released many tracks inspired by 90's House/UK Garage/Jungle on labels in the UK and other countries. In 2020, the "Word Rush EP" was released on London's YAM Records, sold out in record stores worldwide, and was reprinted.

Since then, he has released records on Shall Not Fade, Scuffed Recordings, Hardline and other major labels in the current UK underground scene. Although he lives in Japan, he has become a rare presence who is regarded as an important producer in the current UK scene.

As a DJ, he has appeared at major festivals in Japan such as the Star Festival, the Rainbow Disco Club and Fuji Rock Fes. now making his presence felt even more strongly.

He has received support from producers at the forefront of dance music,including Ben UFO, Objekt, Om Unit, Yaeji, Coco Bryce, Conducta, and Breaka.

In 2017, he and Lomax, another Kyoto-based DJ/ producer, began running the Kyoto-based dance music label NC4K. With continuous releases and parties, the label is gaining attention as an important label that connects Japan and abroad.

exciting sounds that push the boundaries of modern electronic music in a
myriad of new directions. Been killing` the game since 2015, been making waves with over 50 releases to date on some of the most respected labels in the world, such as R & S, ARTS, Holding Hands, Dext, Of Paradise, UX, Planet Rhythm, Illegal Alien, Subsist, FLASH, and Credo.
With his music receiving support from some of the biggest names, such as
Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, Scuba, Rødhad, Marco Bailey, Pan-Pot, Joey
Beltram, Shed, and Answer Code Request, it's no wonder his tracks are
frequently found in the mixes and playlists of these industry heavyweights.
He`s also been featured in podcasts for Mixmag, DJ Mag, Essential Mix,
Slam Radio, Deep Space Helsinki, Rinse FM, and HOR Berlin.
Razor`s discography is packed with remixes from some of the most
respected names in the underground electronic music scene, including
Psyk, Julia Govor, Unbalance, Dubspeeka, Takaaki Itoh, 6SISS, Shedbug,
and Desert Sound Colony. Performing both LIVE and dj-sets, his music displays Dawn Razor’s skills as an increasingly confident producer and one of the most important artists emerging out of scene. Blurring the line between both straight and broken beat techno, breakbeat, electro, mutated bass, IDM and post-trance and more, Dawn Razor is one to watch.
