Bio

Konfusia combines techno with elements of minimal, progressive and psytrance, often weaving her own recorded voice into the tracks. Releases on Stil vor Talent, Iboga and Alula Tunes reflect that mixture, while performances have taken her to Watergate in Berlin, E1 in London and Fusion Festival's Turmbühne. Her route to electronic music began in a different setting: growing up near Germany's Dutch border, she played guitar in pop-punk and rock bands before discovering gabber at sixteen. DJing followed in 2017 and releases in 2019. That interest in performing has carried into her studio practice, where vocal recordings and effects can become central compositional material, as on her Moment EP for Stil vor Talent.
