Bio

Hans Gerd approaches progressive house as a gradual unfolding of rhythm and atmosphere. The Brasília artist gives warm-up sets particular attention, using organic textures and hypnotic grooves to establish a mood before pushing the energy further. His work also involves building the scene around the music: after the pandemic, he helped found Altar, a project connected to Brasília's electronic community. Performances at D-Edge, Externa Club and Universo Paralello have taken that approach to different Brazilian settings, while releases for Sound Avenue, Protagonist and 3rd Avenue extend his studio work into the international progressive-house circuit.
