Decoder is a Dallas based Producer/DJ, and label owner specializing in

hyper minimalistic, sci-fi-esque body music.

His music has seen releases on legendary record labels such as Axis and Molecular,

as well as on more contemporary imprints like Float, AMTK+, and his own Toca Records.

His releases have garnered the support of many heavyweights including the likes of Jeff Mills,

Rrose, Amotik, and Richie Hawtin, who invited him on tour extensively across North America,

Europe, and India. Decoder's touring schedule has also seen many notable moments, having played at

established clubs such as Knockdown Center, De School, Fold, Cialo, and Watergate, to name a few.

A truly prolific artist, Mark Broom has a myriad of production credits to his name having worked with world renowned labels such as Blueprint Records, Rekids, M-plant, EPM, Cocoon, Bpitch Control, Warp Records and the legendary Ifach with Baby Ford.

It all started in the summer of ‘89 when he landed in Tenerife on vacation and stumbled across the delights of the emerging sounds of Chicago and Acid House. Returning to the UK, he immediately went in search of this new found music, a pair of turntables were bought and with it a musical career was born. He has also had the pleasure of reworking material from artists such as Robert Hood, Floorplan, Alan Fitzpatrick and Gary Beck.

A poster child of a global movement, who’s dead set on exploring the outer fringes of electronic music and standing at the frontline of the ever-growing techno scene. Building upon the rich legacy of the Belgian rave heritage, the KNTXT label owner’s career keeps surging at breakneck speed, and we might only have seen the beginning.
