Bio

Juan Portillo Entrena, known to all as KVBIK, has quickly established himself as a preeminent voice in contemporary breakbeat, and with good reason. His razor-sharp production and ability to reflect both light and shade while still delivering cutting-edge, dancefloor-focused monsters has brought him to the attention of virtually every label and producer worth his salt. His recent collaboration with the ever-lethal Backdraft—a screwface-inducing monster that must be heard to be believed, forthcoming on Audiogore’s incredible recordings—along with a standout DJ set at his insane Bass Pressure events, have cemented him as a key member of the Spanish breakbeat fraternity alongside the incredible Neurobreaks Collective.
