DJ Ogi got into Croatian electronic music scene in 1995. He is the founder of Rijeka's techno scene and also one of the leading people of today's Croatian electronic music scene.
His style has always been based on techno, and even today it's a combination of pumping techno with dark elements, marked and well rounded with his beastly mixing technique. His DJ and Live P.A. sets could be heard at the raves and parties such as Dance Valley a Spaarnwoude (Hol), Love Parade in Berlin (Ger), Apokalypsa in Brno (Cz), SDF Festival in Rijeka, ECO Festival in Nova Gorica, Stealth in Los Angeles (US), Aux Music Festival in Augsbourg (Ger) and in clubs like Florida 135 in Fraga, Lov.e in Sao Paolo, Anti club in Toronto, Kantine in Augsbourg, Anti club in Toronto, Lagoa in Menen. Triple 777 , Fabrik in Ostrava, MDa in Florence, Cinema in Kiev, Ambasada Gavioli in Izola, Factory in London, Crkva in Rijeka, ExExtreme in Bratislava, Zoreks in Lleida.

With releases on numerous renowned vinyl labels like Submission, Planet Rhythm, Compressed, Patterns, Holzplatten and Compound (some of it featured on compilations like "Mayday", "Palazzo Mix", and "The Detroit Connection by Kevin Saunderson"),

Toni Álvarez is a techno DJ and producer from Vigo, Galicia (Spain), known for his powerful sets and refined mixing technique. He began his musical journey at the age of 5, studying music theory, guitar, and piano—laying a solid foundation that would later shape his approach to electronic music.

His passion for techno began in 2003, and since then, he has become a prominent figure in the Spanish and European club scene. He was a resident at iconic venues in his hometown such as Spigon, Ópera (Mos), and Breogain, helping define the sound of the Galician underground.

Toni has shared the stage with industry legends like Maceo Plex, Chris Liebing, Umek, Loco Dice, DJ Hell, Kenny Larkin, John Digweed, Joseph Capriati, Matthias Tanzmann, Dave Clarke, Paco Osuna, Dylan Drazen, Cristian Varela, Marco Bailey, James Ruskin, Gayle San, and Óscar Mulero.

His style blends energetic, groove-driven techno with funky undertones, influenced by pioneers like Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, Technasia, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, and Carl Cox. On stage, he’s known for his dynamic sets, often using four decks simultaneously, layering tracks with tricks, scratches, and FX.

As a producer, Toni Álvarez has released over 50 tracks across respected international labels. His discography includes releases on Planet Rhythm, Plus8, Suara, as well as GT Muzike (his own imprint), Jekos, Recovery, Patent Skillz, Zinc, Evolution, Invaders, Patterns, Monkey Records, Sexy Grooves, and Mekatronik.

He is also the founder of Bauhaus Club, Wildlife and Hyper Club, 3 platforms dedicated to promoting techno events across the Iberian Peninsula.

Toni Álvarez continues to push boundaries and deliver powerful techno experiences, earning respect for both his studio work and his explosive live sets.
