Bio
Behind Coda's drum and bass lies an affection for music that gets its point across quickly. He has spoken about the appeal of records built from only a handful of elements, from Blue Boy's Remember Me to the stripped-back force of classic jungle. An enthusiasm for Eurodance belongs in that picture too: years spent in Vienna, and visits to family in Germany, left him with a taste for its direct melodies and sense of fun.
The UK-based DJ and producer has carried those listening habits into a career connecting labels such as Natty Dub, Grid and Charge, alongside collaborations with Coy and Benny V. His route into a track is not always planned. An unofficial reworking of Baby Boy began when he accidentally dragged the wrong sample into a project and liked what happened. That willingness to follow an unexpected idea sits comfortably beside the rolling rhythms and dancefloor focus of his own releases.
