Bio

Siasia combines a long career in Polish techno with teaching and hands-on support for other producers. Łukasz Salbert has been active since 1996, developing his work in Katowice through DJing, production, Dirty Stuff Records and Electronic DJ School. His own beginnings were improvised: the first mixer came from a neighbour's basement and lacked even channel EQ. That practical involvement in the craft extends to collaboration. For the Kronos EP on Codex, he and Peter Fern chose to meet in person despite living almost 600 kilometres apart, completing the project across three studio sessions. Releases on Planet Rhythm and Naked Lunch sit alongside his own-label work, while teaching lets him pass on lessons gathered on both sides of the decks.
