Bio

Nikola Jovanovic is a Belgrade progressive-house producer whose early interest in electronic music grew through listening to CDs and watching Serbia's EXIT festival on television. By 2006, he had begun moving toward the progressive sound that would shape his own productions. He works with a deliberately straightforward setup, describing Ableton, headphones and a MIDI keyboard as sufficient for making the most of his ideas. For Archipelago, released on Deep Down Music with a John Cosani remix, he imagined an island setting while writing. Further releases on AH Digital, Future Avenue and Balkan Connection South America place that personal studio practice within a wider progressive-house network.
