With 30 years of experience in the vibrant world of electronic music, Kevin Kinembe has cultivated a career that reflects his passion and dedication to the art of DJing. His journey began in the intimate confines of small clubs, where he developed a unique style that captivated audiences. Kevin became a beloved fixture at Catacombes, holding a residency for 8 years, where his infectious energy and impeccable taste in music drew in crowds night after night. Subsequently, he became a resident at La Bush and Pulse, and remaining a key figure at Escape engaging audiences with his dynamic sets.

In recent years, Kevin shifted his focus to Afro house, a genre that resonateswith his musical sensibilities. Embracing this new direction, he began producing his own tracks, culminating in the release of his debut EP, which climbed to the top of the charts in Afro house and organic house. His latest releases, "Nakupenda" on Southwest Records and "Papo" on La Perle Records and Kwenda We on the renowned Ibiza Planet Music Label showcase his evolving sound.

As he prepares for a promising 2026 with solo releases already ready, DJ Kevin Kinembe's journey is a testament to his love for music and his commitment to evolving as an artist. Fans can look forward to an exciting future filled with innovative sounds.

My focus is on blending afro, tribal, and organic house, mixing modern electronic beats with rhythms and sounds from around the world. I try to create sets and tracks that feel like a journey, shifting between deep tribal grooves, melodic moments, and raw percussion. My goal is to connect different musical traditions and make something that works both on the dance floor and in quieter, more personal listening moments. At its core, it’s about respecting and celebrating global music while exploring what electronic production can add to it.
