Lindsey Herbert is a prominent figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the US’ Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds and sound design, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances.
Beginning as a young raver with an intense passion for dance music and its community, Lindsey began her own musical journey at the age of 15 and has been at it for nearly half of her life. Since her first gig in 2014, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities.
In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her discography has grown exponentially, with drops on esteemed labels like Token, Soma, Truncate, 4-Trk, Blank Code, Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, Suara and many others. The future holds even more promise with countless forthcoming releases on the horizon.
Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. The label has been actively hosting showcases, providing a platform for the next generation of techno talent to shine.
