Bio

EAS makes industrial-leaning techno with roots in a much wider listening history. Emmanuel Andreas Santamarina grew up with classic rock, heavy metal and progressive metal before following trance towards industrial music and techno. The records of Mord, PoleGroup and Perc Trax helped turn those interests into a production practice, and his own work has since appeared on Perc Trax, Clergy, Soma and Green Fetish. Working between Southern California and Spain, he remains closely connected to Los Angeles's underground scene, where he joined WORK's resident roster for 2023. He also co-runs Tympanum Records. These activities place his music in both the local spaces that shaped him and the international circuit of harder techno, with releases such as Conductor of Evil reflecting his taste for abrasive sound and club intensity.
