Bio

Absu_NTQL brings a solo production identity together with a close circle of collaborators in drum and bass. Simon Sykora uses Absu for his individual work, while NTQL connects him to the project he shares with Viktor and Robert. Based in Prague, he has developed within a scene whose artists and events have helped raise his own expectations of what he can make. His route into production was self-directed: a tutorial, a demo copy of FL Studio and a summer spent learning plugins came before drum and bass became the focus. A Footshop feature followed him between his studio and a Darkshire event in a church, showing the everyday work behind that development. Learning the tools, exchanging ideas and playing the music are closely connected parts of his artistic life.
