About Shango

Bio

Nicolas, also known as Shango, is what we call a music lover. Lover of noise music and d.i.y. from a very young age, it was at raves that he discovered electronic music and became a psytrance DJ in 2001. He specialized in fast rhythms, going between 160 and 200 bpm, very inspired by Goa gil. In 2017, Shango attended a performance by Ricardo Vilallobos at Stéréo. This event was definitive. Thus, today he produces slower and less “in your face” music, going so far as to integrate housy rhythms into his long DJ sets accented with carefully chosen vinyls.
