Bio

Based in Madrid, OtD (acronym of Odey the DJ) has been passionate about electronic music since the 80s, when he fell in love with the sound of the hardcore Acid House of the late decade, as well as the industrial sound of EBM. In 1992, he began to play in small clubs of the north area of Spain. In the first half of the 90,s, he focuses on Gabber music, Hardcore and later on what today is defined as Hard Techno and Acid Techno. In his current Techno sets, you can still see subtle reflections of that era. At the end of the 90s he began to produce his own songs, managing to get a set that contained exclusively his own songs to play on RNE3's prestigious program "Zona 3" with Sonia Briz. Currently he covers multiple styles ranging from Trance to Techno through Tech-House, Deep House, Minimal Techno and to a lesser extent, more commercial lines such as EDM.
