Nicolas Barnes

Aeikus is an electronic music project developed by Brazilian artist Athos Araujo. With over a decade of experience as a music producer, Athos delivers a refined and robust sound that maintains his distinct artistic identity. His musical influences range from classic house to contemporary techno, reflecting a broad and sophisticated approach to electronic music.

Paul Yoon was born in 1980 in Seoul, South Korea. moved to Los Angeles in 1997 to study abroad and attend high school. He was inspired by the music of Drum'n bass, Trance, and House at the RAVE clubs around LA and started making music in his bedroom. In 2000, he returned to Korea and worked as a producer of progressive trance, tribal house, and electronic music in the underground scene. At the time, there were very few people doing electronic music in Korea, so he was a pioneer. For his commercial career, he worked as a major K-Pop producer and in the commercial music industry. In a unique career move, he served as the executive music director for the opening ceremony of F1 2010 KOREA, the first race to be held in Korea in 2010. He also submitted music to gaming companies for 16 years and has had numerous hits and has many fans in East Asia and South America. He has the same way of life since he started music 26 years ago: “I make money from popular music to make art”. His name, Deepdrome, reflects the rough and tumble life story he's been living, which is abstracted in the Dub Techno world. Unlike Paul Bazooka's music, which was full of smiles, Deepdrome's music is serious and shows no teeth. He currently resides in Gwangju, a city full of mountains and water, where he draws a lot of musical inspiration from the natural environment.

Rick started to dj in his early jears and played together with friends for the whole youth in his village at their own organised parties. In the beginning, they spinned CD`s, but with his first salary he bought two turntables and a mixer, so he could start to practice with vinyl. Every week diggin in the recordstores, so his collection grew very fast. Many small gigs later and after building a partylabel with some friends (MINIM), they`ve entered the legal+illegal party scene and also the famous club Dachkantine in zurich. MINIM invited a lot of big names, such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Rob Acid, Gabriel Ananda, Tobi Neumann, Paul Brtschitsch, Matthias Tanzmann, Konrad Black, Tigerskin, Gallopierende Zuversicht, Eli Verveine and many others. After the closing of the Dachkantine the partylabel MINIM splitted up and Rick went for a jear to Barcelona. He came back and started a new job, which allowed him to buy a lot of records, but not to go out on the weekends. So he focused more in production. In 2014 he released his first digital EP on his own label Enara records. In may 2016 he released his first vinyl-only record on Enara ltd. Many digital releases followed and will be coming. Sometimes you can here him djing at smaller parties, still vinyl and rarely some digital tunes.
