German DJ/producer Tensnake – aka Marco Niemerski, has been creating a distinct atmosphere on the world’s dance floors with his house and disco productions. Drawing inspiration from soul, boogie, funk and 80s pop, he has developed a unique sound, notably heard in 2010’s “Coma Cat”.

He is the label boss of his own True Romance imprint and has performed at festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, and Tomorrowland. His discography includes releases with labels like Running Back, Defected, and Permanent Vacation. In 2014, he released his debut artist album Glow, featuring collaborations with Jamie Liddell, MNEK, and Nile Rodgers.

His sophomore album L.A., named after the city he recently called home, explores a different take on the Tensnake sound with a distinct pop flavor. Across its 16-track expanse, the album invites listeners to imagine a journey down palm-lined boulevards under blue skies. Featuring tracks like a cover of “Automatic”, the euphoric “Somebody Else”, and the fluid “Antibodies”, the project represents an evolution in his production and a personal drive toward artistic growth.

Tensnake

Creation and iteration form the center of Hollt’s drive; whether in the studio creating music, on the workbench iterating on his self-made controllers, coding new DAW plugins or directing one of his live sets. Notes and nodes, mixing and modeling, coding and composing - it really is all the same for the cum-laude conservatory graduate.

In recent years, Hollt, a.k.a. Jeffrey Frugte, has been steadily solidifying his name; merging melodic elements with a defiling energy, creating stories and blending genres. Hailing from the Netherlands, Hollt moves comfortably between both Berlin’s melodic techno scene, resulting in the underground hit ‘Halos’ on Jonas Saalbach & David Guzy’s Radikon, as well as his UK friends leading to BBC Radio One support on ‘Fusion’, released on ZeroThree. With his own label ‘die Stube Records’ he has an outlet that allows for full creative and creator control, resulting in ‘Anomia’, the collaboration with Lake Avalon, and  most recently releasing his EP ‘Philosophy of Time’.

On stage, Hollt creates a world consisting of melodies and techno, either DJ’ing or playing live with the Holltesizer. Heavily supported by the likes of ARTBAT, Mathame, Adriatique, Innellea, Kevin de Vries, Fideles, Joris Voorn, Coeus, Eelke Kleijn, Jonas Saalbach & more, his music is now reaching more people every day in both his worlds; online and offline.
