Bio

Singer and songwriter Kathy Fisher and composer and producer Ron Wasserman bring songs, rather than a single genre, to the centre of their partnership as Fisher. Formed in 1994, the duo first built an audience through songs such as I Will Love You and online distribution, leading to a deal with Universal. Their work later expanded into advertising and screen music, while Kathy’s voice found a substantial home in trance. Collaborations with George Acosta, Paul van Dyk, Sean Tyas and Karanda sit alongside The Thrillseekers’ The Last Time, bringing the project’s songwriting into electronic productions. Although Fisher stopped touring as a band in 2005, the partnership continued releasing material, and Kathy also developed work in voice-over, commercial recording and mentoring younger artists.
