MBreaks brings the swing and bass weight of UK club music into Seville’s breakbeat scene. A DJ and producer involved with Pure Bassline, she moves easily among breaks, two-step, UK garage, bassline and drum and bass, treating those styles as connected dance-floor languages. Her productions for 83 reflect the same range, from the acid-edged “Analog Saw” with Bowser to the garage lean of “Lola”. The album “Changes” gathers that development into a broader statement about her evolving sound and working methods. Sets at Dreambeach, Monegros and elrow place her alongside the producers and dancers sustaining Spain’s energetic broken-beat culture.
