Bio
Sugartrane works between tech house and minimal, with a studio practice centred on refining the groove. Already a musician and songwriter before taking up electronic production in 2021, he was drawn to house through clubs and parties, then began exploring the possibilities of production software. He describes alternating between studying other producers' tracks, experimenting with synthesizers and effects, and developing his own material.
His approach to Don't Over Think It for Adesso Music was to keep the arrangement simple while letting its sounds gradually change around a vocal hook. Releases on Happy Techno, Whoyostro and MONOSIDE place that work within a wider house catalogue, while Little Helpers 426 combines solo tracks with collaborations alongside Butane.
