Tracks such as Got to Believe, Deepa and jungle anthem Good to Have the Feelin, with the legendary Tippa Irie, have picked up play and support from DJs such as MistaJam and Annie Mac, on Radio 1 and 1Xtra.  His collaboration with General Levy and Ed Solo,  Have Some Fun, was also a massive hit on the airwaves.

In the studio, Deekline is a bonafide musical shapeshifter, his impressive diversity having seen him rework the likes of Armand Van Helden, Old Dirty Bastard and The Prodigy. Roska’s production style has varied over the years, between stripped back, percussion-driven rollers to more club-influenced vocal creations, all of which will always pack a tremendously recognizable rhythmic punch, gaining support around the UK and also abroad, with international music hubs such as the USA & Japan showing love to the UK legend.

Alongside this, Roska has managed to stay very much with the times within his production arsenal, slowly stripping his style through the reprisal of the Bakongo alias to cover more techno and tribal house influenced creations, whilst also slowly moving into the realms of dancehall production with some extremely original ideas and production techniques, in case that wasn’t enough!

Sonic innovators will always be hailed for their musical contributions in the UK, especially those who are seen as being within the founding father range of a genre’s history. Roska is without a doubt one of the UK artists falling into that legendary bracket, with no intention of slowing down any time soon.
