The last twelve months has included sold out North America tours, a slot at the world famous Coachella

music festival, a wealth of global and Ibiza plays, a remix for Major Lazer, plus releases on key

underground labels including No Art and Good Company Records. 2025 also saw Bontan launch his own

imprint, North Drum, which will be a home for him to release his own music as well as providing a platform

for fresh talent and his friends to release on.

To wrap a solid year, Bontan is ending 2025 as #4 in Beatport's 10 best-selling Afro House artist, the

second consecutive year he ends in the Top 10 in the genre.

For nearly two decades Groove Armada has been established as one of the planet's best loved and biggest selling dance acts. As comfortable on the big stages as they are in sweat soaked basements, the boys cross genres and styles with ease.

Andy Cato and Tom Findlay met in London in the mid 90s. Groove Armada started as a series of nights across London. It was to promote these nights that they started releasing 12s for East London pioneer 'Tummy Touch'.

An album made in a week, 'Northern Star', soon followed (which contained downbeat anthem 'At the River'), and from that came major label recognition. 'Vertigo' their first album on Jive sold over a million copies and four albums followed on SONY and BMG garnering Grammy and Brit Nominations and sold out gigs from Sydney to Moscow. A pioneering combination of performance and electronics, the GA live show evolved into one of the very best in dance music.

After another busy summer of DJ shows in Ibiza, as well as headline live performances at festivals such as Wilderness and Boomtown, the band follow up with a 4CD / 2LP Best Of 'Twenty One'. A fitting celebration of 21 years at the top of their game, with plenty more to come.

Groove Armada

Rex the Dog is responsible for some of the most infectious and exuberant '80s-inspired electro house singles in a decade chock-full of them. Before veteran producer Jake Williams (aka JX) stepped forward to officially confirm rumors of his involvement, the mystery surrounding Rex the Dog's identity garnered a fair amount of attention in electronic circles -- but it never overshadowed the music itself, with its recognizable, impressively durable template of simple, sturdy midtempo beats, buoyant burbling bass, and melodic but constantly mutating portamento synth riffs (and occasionally vocals) flanged and filtered into delirium. Williams scored multiple mainstream house hits (including several top 20 U.K. singles) throughout the '90s under the monikers JX and Mekka, and as a member of Planet Perfecto, but sometime after the turn of the millennium he struck out in a less overtly commercial direction, adopting the Rex the Dog alias. In 2023 Williams revealed an evolution of the Rex The Dog sound, one which married the Rex project with his musical roots. ‘Change This Pain For Ecstasy’ saw the biggest vocal hook ever used on a Rex record.
