We’ve got an exciting new debut this September from German born, Jamaican raised Tech House DJ and producer, Melanie Ribbe, who lands on the label with her brand new single, ‘Big’ which also features a killer remix from Kaluki favourite, Iglesias. Having begun her career as a model, Melanie has since established herself as a multi-talented artist with an intense passion for music. Her tracks have been signed to a list of esteemed labels including Saved, Do Not Sleep, Under No Illusion, Moon Harbour and Roush alongside regular stints behind the decks at Amnesia, Hï Ibiza, Fabrik Madrid, elrow Barcelona and many more! Taking cues from her time growing up on Jamaica’s sandy shores, her sound bounces between the more minimal grooves of Techno and the deep melodies of House and Tech House, all while retaining a funky edge that sets her apart from the rest. ‘Big’ radiates Melanie’s signature sound with laid back House drums, bubbling basslines and grooving low-end, whilst Iglesias’ mix takes the track in an otherworldly direction with trippy effects, frantic drum patterns and intricate synth grooves; perfectly raw, hard hitting tech for the late night hours.
