Standard Model

Quintessentials snatched up his first track, out now on Gentlemen Cuts (QE44), and Juno compared his remix of Teleksop's "Entropolis" (LSR-018D) with early Joy Orbison. This is the sound of Standard Model! Standard Model is the new project of label owner Andrei Idu (The Legendary 1979 Orchestra), which aims to explore sound in relation with developments in particle and astro-physics.  
For this debut EP we are invited to embark on the Maiden Voyage of a new creative vessel. Standard Model is a vehicle maneuvering through tremendous depths of sound, rhythm and harmonics. The atmosphere is heavy, dense, dusty, analog distorted, yet digital and alive! The landscape is vast and spacey and somehow one notices it being lit up by burning torches! Music becomes a multisensory experience under the command of Standard Model.
