Sebastian Groth as label head and Markus Weigelt as his "student" are not only the two most regularly releasing artists on the imprint, their names are also associated with each other for years. As real life best buddies, Seb helped Markus to break into the techno world, and at least today theyre neck´n neck with their standing as producers. Both were among the Top 15 best-selling artists at Beatport Hard Techno last year. The surprising point here is: "Waste" is still their first real collab, apart from "Nightmare" - which they released with Ben Dust and which was also on #1 of Beatports Hardtechno charts for weeks and also one of the best-selling tracks 2021. So: The expectations are high! And of course they deliver! 145BPM uncompromising, reckless - Powertechno! A hard, rolling, distorted bassline plus dry vocals, screech shots, definitely some early 2000s influences... maybe not a new invention, but definitely effective on the floor and produced on point!
