Lukas Freymuth

LUKAS FREYMUTH's new EP 'Heavy Rain' dives deep into the progressive side of contemporary Techno music. Both original tracks come with futuristic, carefully arranged soundscapes, and bass-heavy, driving foundations. 'Heavy Rain' is a slowly building, highly atmospherical track with a very deep and almost melancholic side. The constant movement of its elements leave a slightly surreal and cerebral impression. 'SMBH' has a similar flow, but feels a lot harsher. The trippy intro is followed by a tight-knit fabric of polyrhythmic hi-hats and organic, arpeggio-based synth lines. These tracks seek to surprise, rather than hypnotize. This release also features two remixes for the title track by Lukas' long-time friends BUTTSCHAFT and a fresh face from the UK: CAESIUM
