Since its launch in 1992, Renaissance has established itself as one of the world’s leading club brands and record labels. Staging major festivals and international club nights in more than 30 countries, plus spectacular and unforgettable one-off events at stately homes and castles in the UK, which set new standards in outdoor event production.
The mix compilation ‘Renaissance The Mix Collection: Sasha & John Digweed’ was released on 14th October 1994 and has since been acclaimed as the most significant mix compilation of all time. It was the UK’s first ever gold-selling mix compilation and was the template for every other mix album that followed.
Since then, Renaissance has released more than 80 mix compilations and 100 singles, from a roster of the industry’s biggest names, whilst also building a reputation for continually supporting the rising stars of electronic music.  This pattern is as evident today as it was all those years ago, with exciting new artists recently signed to the label alongside the very biggest names; Solomun, Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex and Adam Beyer have all recently added to the label’s enviable roster, whilst newcomers BLANCAh, Armee and Add-us have shared the same platform.
