Bio

D.O.D makes house music shaped by the dance sounds of northern England in the 1990s and 2000s. The Lancaster-based producer, Dan O'Donnell, first became known for his bass-heavy Future Jack records before moving towards piano-led tracks and vocal songs. Still Sleepless with Carla Monroe and So Much In Love brought that approach into the UK singles charts, while Somedays, made with Sonny Fodera and Jazzy, reached the top five. The records sit alongside a substantial touring career, including Tomorrowland, Ultra, Creamfields and The Warehouse Project, as well as headline shows in the UK, Australia and North America. His continuing relationship with Armada connects those vocal-led releases with club material, retaining the energy of his early productions within a broader house sound.
