Bio

KPD’s house music is built around groove and the exchange between a DJ and a crowd. The Madrid-based producer moves between house and tech house, keeping classic house influences present in a catalogue that includes Defected, KMS, Urbana and Toolroom. His performances have taken that music through Europe and Latin America, while his studio partnerships connect him with singers as well as fellow producers. Place Called Home, made with Dantiez Saunderson and LaRae Starr, brought a vocal focus to Defected in 2015. The David Penn collaboration Ain’t Got No became another important record, alongside work with vocalists including Mila Falls and Ann Saunderson. KPD also shares his production methods through the House Tips sample collection for Loopmasters, turning elements of his own club sound into tools for other musicians.
