About FAWZY

Bio

FAWZY is Alexandria-based producer and sound engineer Mohamed Fawzy. Melody and emotion guide his work in trance, from original tracks to vocal collaborations and remixes. Releases on Armada, Black Hole, Suanda, FSOE and Abora have accompanied collaborations with artists including Woody van Eyden, Daniel Kandi, DRYM and Lost Witness. He expanded that work in 2024 by founding Narratology Recordings with Abora, giving his own music and other artists a platform that can extend beyond trance into melodic house and techno. His Narratology mix series follows a similarly open approach, alternating his selections with guest contributions. A remix of Lost Witness and Sassot's Whatever for Who's Afraid of 138?! connects his contemporary production work with an earlier generation of trance.
