Clima

Here at Turbine Music we’re propelling into our next project directly off the back of Sentic Cycle’s efficacious debut EP. Next up, we’re 
elated to welcome back the talented Spanish duo, Clima with their EP,  The Need To Protect. 
Clima have been building upon their powerful sound in the world of Drum and Bass for over a decade.

The Need to Protect EP kicks off with the title track which is infused in a radiant dub dalliance. The thunderous kicks and shuffles are 
splintered flawlessly against reverb drenched hits. The reggae vocal 
wraps it up into a superlative and ingenious halftime moon stomper.

New Jersey swiftly commences with a twisted looping female vocal before unravelling into all its’ glory. Not unlike Need to Protect this track 
holds back on the drums and lets the bass do the damage. Spliced in percussion, dub beeps and submersed reverb, this track will prick up 
your ears and entice you into a resonant trance.

The Day Dub retains the dubby flavour that Clima are synonymous for.
The disintegration gradually materialises in preparation, before  descending into the bass induced drop. Clever and intricate percussion 
alongside irking keys, gives The Day Dub a haunting feel. Bringing us a darker and side of Clima, giving more depth to the precocious pair.

Concluding the EP is What U Want, which takes you down a melancholy  
thoroughfare. It has rhode style keys alongside a mesmerising female vocal. 
It summons the low frequencies to subtly hit which takes the 
expedition into the breakdown, which builds expectations that Clima have no problems in executing in fine style and sophistication.

We are delighted to have Clima back within the Turbine Music fold, 
this is what makes us excited and we know you will feel the same.
