"To die of boredom or to live in a state of distraction, music is often a powerful balancing tool, and ‘Hungry Claws’is no exception. Just as if there were a time for everything, this EP plays with silences and counterpoints.
All because a constitutionally tenacious turn of phrase requires inspiration, breath, pauses, and a life pulse.

And like life, expected events rarely occur as we imagine them.
Constructed in this way on a thread, the sound universe that emerges from this flirts between the science of mixing
and the exercise of counterpoint, like a pendulum that oscillates between noise and silence, mildness and tension. Polarised by the desire to stave off established genres and to distance itself from them, this work constantly touches on compromise without ever giving in to it.

Looking for accidents, chasing after uniqueness, accepting boredom, keeping the urge to ramble in check:
to do, to escape, to dance? Why not. ‘Hungry Claws’ recalls a verbal echo distilled many years ago, ‘croche et tiens, or nourishes the desire to cling it close, to remain hungry, with sharpened claws."
