"Trapped in our own world" is an intensely personal song inspired by the tragic suicide of a fantastic musician at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The song explores navigating this situation as an outsider during a life phase where one feels helpless and vulnerable. "We miss Purple Rain" reminisces about the fantastic versions of the Prince song that Stephan loved to perform as the closing piece, emphasizing how he remains unforgettable. The original/extended version takes on an electro/indie dance vibe, more suited for late-night drives than the traditional dance floor. The vocals by rock singer Jesse J. Blow complete the song. Jesse had Jan produce his last rock album, making it clear that his voice was needed on our record. The Tabou Jan Zolo Remix is a melodic techno powerhouse that will rock the dance floor. R.I.P.
